Hospice is comprehensive social, medical, and spiritual care that supports patients and their families when an illness no longer responds to curative treatments, or when a patient chooses not to pursue aggressive therapies. Hospice improves the quality of a patient’s life and provides comfort and dignity, with palliative care to help manage pain and alleviate symptoms and stress.
BAYADA Hospice caregivers include nurses, physicians, therapists, social workers, home health aides, and other professionals who share a passion for helping others. They are experienced specialists who provide only hospice care. Like all BAYADA professionals, they undergo extensive screening, including thorough background checks and work history verification.
In addition to supporting patients and families, we can also provide grief counseling for friends or others who need support.
BAYADA Hospice values individual differences, and we maintain an environment that is open and accepting of all people, regardless of their race, color, religion, gender, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
BAYADA Hospice currently provides services in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania, and will soon be providing care in other states.
