The BAYADA Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to helping BAYADA employees and clients in need. The Foundation strives to improve the lives of individuals who are "needy and distressed" by providing financial assistance and supporting charitable causes and programs.
While working in partnership with BAYADA Home Health Care, the Foundation is independent from the organization and oversees the disbursement of funds that are donated, bequeathed, or acquired through fundraising.
The Foundation includes two funds— the Employee and Client Emergency Fund and the Hospice Fund.
Employee and Client Emergency Fund: These funds help people replace belongings lost due to fire or flood, pay household bills or buy groceries when in financial distress, and secure basic necessities after an emergency.
Hospice Fund: This fund helps clients who are experiencing financial distress and need help due to the circumstances of their terminal diagnosis— such as with household bills or improving quality of life ways not covered by the Medicare
Hospice Benefit.
Thank you if you are supporting Susannah Saxman's bike journey from Vermont to Hershey to raise tax-deductible donations for the Hospice Fund! Follow her progress here: http://on.fb.me/12t9RTz
