BAYADA is committed to serving the ALS community and providing specialized home health care services that support our clients and their families. Our partnership with the ALS Association increases our commitment to the ALS community by creating special programs centered on client experience and enhanced training for our professionals who care for ALS clients.

Our teams of professionals are committed to supporting you and your family through your unique challenges. Our home health care support for ALS includes:

Assistive care services

• Prepare meals and help with eating
• Help with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with ambulation and medical equipment
• Provide range of motion exercises

Nursing care

• Manage assisted breathing with a ventilator
• Administer tube feedings
• Give medications and help manage pain and other symptoms
• Use a suction machine as needed

Therapeutic care

• Work with more advanced exercise or mobility issues
• Suggest special devices and tools that can maximize your independence
• Teach strategies that help with communication
• Offer family members tips on safe lifting, home modifications, and more

We work closely with your doctors and insurance to provide you with superior care and support at home.
